Your guide

Hi, I am Marco Heltai, international mountain guide and canyoning instructor. After 20 years in mountain rescue and 10 as a helicopter rescue technician, I have combined skills and passion to found a team of professionals: expert guides in canyoning, mountaineering, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, SUP, sailing and paragliding.

We are waiting for you at Lake Garda and on Monte Baldo to live authentic experiences in nature together.

Description

Canyoning in the Vajo dell’Orsa Minore on Monte Baldo is for you if you are looking for fun and adventure in a natural environment of rare beauty. From age nine upwards, this route is easy and perfect as a first experience.

You will meet the guides in Brentino Belluno, in their canyon centre. We are on the eastern slope of Monte Baldo, which is less crowded and eager to be discovered.

After a welcome coffee, the guides will begin their briefing on behaviour and safety rules, and they will hand you the necessary equipment to wear.

After about 20 minutes of easy walking uphill, you will reach the mouth of the canyon and enter the water, where your adventure begins in a wild environment of extraordinary beauty. Slides, pools of crystal-clear water to dive into, waterfalls, and rope descents await you. The highest waterfall is 15 metres, and the highest non-compulsory jump is 5 metres. If you don’t feel up to jumping, your guide will lower or abseil you.

The water in this canyon is always pleasant, even in low season.

After a kilometre in the canyon and about three hours, you will walk a short distance back to the starting point.
